hot new R&B joint..

I wanna take the time to say thank you once again to everyone who has taken the time out to watch my videos. It means a lot. Because of the support that you have shown, I have been blessed with many opportunities I didn't think I could reach this soon in my career. As I continue to pursue my dream of becoming one of the best young producer/songwriters in this industry, I ask that you continue to show your love and support by subscribing to my channel and continue to tell others about my music.

I am very fortunate to be blessed with such a gift and I thank and praise God everyday as I continue to pray that he increases my knowledge and passion for my art.

To answer a few of the many messages and comments that I get..

Question Number 1: What kind of keyboard am I using?

Answer: My old yahama PSR-540. It was a gift to me when I was only 10 years old. I use it as nothing more than a midi controller.

Question Number 2: What software am I using?

Answer: Garageband. Yes I use garage band. It came with my iMac, which was a graduation gift to me 6 months ago. When you're a broke college student, you gotta do what you can with what you HAVE. I think I'm using it to the best of my ability.

Question Number 3: How long have I been producing?

Answer: I started playing drums when I was 2 years old. My parents recognized the gift and placed me in drum lessons at age 4. I started playing the piano by ear at age 7. They recognized that gift as well and placed me in piano lessons soon after. I started to produce in 8th and 9th grade and I started to take it seriously my Junior year.

Question number 4: Do I have any tips for other up and coming producer/songwriters?

Answer: My only advice is for you to take a look at yourself and observe what God has blessed you with. Music is a gift. Not everyone has the gift. I see a lot of people who don't have the gift, but yet they still try to create music. You have to be honest with yourself. Ask " is this for me". A big reason why people are so annoyed with popular music is because people without the gift are the ones that somehow put out hit records. They're putting out hit records not because the music is good, but simply because of the easy money thats being made by people that don't recognize what the "gift" sounds like. Be honest with yourself before you decide " I wana be in the music business". I feel like we're losing the "music" in the music business.

I give all credit to Howie Alexander, James Johnson and the AAMI family for helping to mold me into the musician I am today. They saw my potential and my gift and did everything they could to help me grow.

Things are just getting started. Thank you once again for the support as you get to watch me develop into the producer/songwriter I'm striving to be.

Great news coming soon. Stay tuned.
