This right here is part 3 of our #iChatSessions series on iluvlola.net
For this, I decided to bother DJ Don Cannon while he was working in the studio and get some "honest" answers and feedback from him. If you've never watched a Cannon interview before, or never had the pleasure of meeting him in person, please keep in mind that he is a character and loves to crack jokes and have a good time. I think it was one of our most entertaining #iChatsessions due to the fact that we were really just conversating as if we would have if the session had not been recorded.
Thisis50 sat with Producer Drumma Boy.
He talks about who he has worked with such as Young Jeezy, Drake, Plies, Ludacris, Slim Thug, Kanye West, etc. He tells Thisis50 who inspired him. He demonstrates how he comes with a concept for a beat. He shows how important a manager is for a producer and how it's important to have some sort of relationship with the artist as well. He also talks about his label & much more!
more to come only on http://www.thisis50.com
Drumma Boy is the 24-year-old producer behind hits like Young Jeezy featuring Kanye West's "Put On", Rocko and Plies' breakthrough tracks "Umma Do Me" and "Shawty" and Gorilla Zoe featuring Lil Wayne's current banger "Get Money".
He chats with the Boss Lady about his constantly growing catalog, his journey from being a beatmaker to a fully-fledged producer, his live instrumentation project Drumma Boy Live (heard first on the Rick Ross featuring Nelly summer hit, "Here I Am") and more. Watch for his special surprise from Miskeen also.
