Cassius Jay, real name Josh Cross, is a 28 year old music producer born and raised in Decatur, Georgia. His parents raised him in a church environment, and were a major influence on him. He credits his parents with inspiring him to become a musician.Cassius Jay’s production career started in 2009, when he worked under the schooling of industry vet Don Vito. Cassius Jay credits Don Vito with helping him to develop his signature “kick” on production tracks. He has no problem collaborating with other music producers; Cassius Jay learned his business savvy working with Nitti Beats, and he’s currently working with Zaytoven. The biggest production of Cassius Jay’s career thus far is Justin Bieber’s “Fa La La”, which featured 90’s R&B legends Boyz II Men.
