    FKi

Atlanta based production team/hip hop artists, FKi is known for creating heavy bass, trapstep and edm inspired hits for industry heavyweights like Travis Porter, Tyga, Iggy Azalea, Juicy J, and Jeremih. The two led a 12 city tour early 2013, The Certified Trap Tour, powered by Livemixtapes and Mad Decent to promote the trapstep genre as well as the artists and DJs that pioneer the trend. FKi, comprised of Raye Rich and 1st Down, got their start in the music industry engineereing after graduating and receiving degrees from Full sail University. After engineering for several artists, and perfecting their craft, FKi had the opportunity to work at Collipark Music; Atlanta based production studio and record label responsible for artists such as Ying Yang Twins, & Soulja Boy. It was there where the two met Mr. Hanky who then introduced them to Travis Porter. One thing lead to another and FKi found themselves producing hits “Make It Rain” and “Bring it Back”. FKi’s sound is a heterogeneous blend of glitch hop, hip hop, bass and trap music making it difficult to limit their fan base or genre of artist you may hear over an FKi production. This sound was first heard heavily on FKi’s premier mixtape Transformers in the Hood. TNTH, presented by international DJ and Mad Decent curator, Diplo [Feb. 1, 2012], garnered much deserved attention from electronic, hip hop, and trap music forums throughout the US and abroad. Transformers N the Hood 2: AMDAM [May 20, 2013] brings the same heavy bass bangers as FKi’s first mixtape. Features from artists like Israeli dubstep producer Borgore hint at the two’s international influence. May 7, 2013 1st and Rich erased any doubt they could measure up to the mainstream artists they have produced for by appearing on the Hustle Gang ‘Get Dough or Die [G.D.O.D]’ mixtape. They still reign supreme a month later by helping mold the sound of Young Dro's most recent mixtape release "Day Two" [June 18, 2013]; producing 7 songs of the 18 track release. Raye Rich and 1st down continue to make music by drawing inspiration from the world around them. FKi's musical influence relies heavily on the lives they live; parties, girls, sex, and drugs. One of their bigget influences is George Clinton, adding to that is Flosstrodomous, and Waka Flocka Flame which shows in their sound and lyrical content. FKi really embodies what it means to be modern rock stars. Their latest reflection of art imitating the Zooly life is manifested in Transformers N the Hood 2: AMDAM. http://www.fkimusic.com https://twitter.com/goodjob1st https://twitter.com/fkimusic https://twitter.com/FKi1stdown https://twitter.com/FKiRich https://www.facebook.com/FKiMusic https://soundcloud.com/fkimusic http://www.youtube.com/user/FKiMusic
