In this edition of HHS1987’s segment Behind the Beats, we caught up with Atlanta native, producer Black Metaphor.
Black Methphor who is responsible for hits such as Jeezy’s “Get Right”, Rick Ross’ “Rich is Gangsta”. Lil Bibby’s “Water”, Game’s “Ali Bomaye” and more spoke on his love for the art of production, his musical background, learning from and interning with the J.U.S.T.I.C.E league and more.
Earning his first placement seven years ago, Black Metaphor spoke on his production essentials, how his sound has evolved over the years and why his sound is becoming so popular. With the likes of Rick Ross, Jeezy, Lil Bibby already on his resume, Black Metaphor also informed us of upcoming possible placements with Lil Boosie and Lil Wayne.
As we wrapped us the interview Black Metaphor also spoke on having a few placements on Jeezy’s upcoming project but informed us he didn’t want to speak too much about it.
