Here is two part of our exclusive interview with Chester’s own Jahlil Beats. This time, Jahlil talks about Meek & Drake’s beef and what the initial reaction was after finding out Drizzy wasn’t writing his rhymes. The Roc Nation producer touches on his relationship with producer Boi 1da, who had some choice words for Meek when the beef started via Twitter. Although it was touchy at first, Jahlil confirms that he and 1da don’t have any problems and he pretty much brushed off the whole situation.
Moving forward, Beats speaks about focusing on Meek’s forthcoming album, DC4 and creating new music saying the album is almost complete. Jahlil mentions he’s making new beats for Jay Z and Beanie Sigel, also there’s an unreleased track with Black Thought, Eminem and Royce Da 5’9 that has yet to surface. Jahlil is planning on dropping his own EP soon and potentially doing an exclusive documentary with us, so keep your eyes open for that.
