Swizz detailed Cassidy’s extensive battling history many years ago when he was closely associated with Swizz Beatz, DMX, and the Rough Ryders. Swizz believes that Cassidy “bred these people” in reference to the current professional battlers around today. However, he also thinks that Cassidy does need to understand that it is a different time and that battling has evolved in order to avoid getting beaten in his battle vs. Dizaster. If he had to put up money, Swizz stated that he would easily bet on Cassidy over Dizaster.
Swizz also shared his thoughts on the upcoming battle between Fredro Starr and Keither Murray on September 28th in Atlanta on the MC War Battle League. Swizz praised Keith as having been “a lyrical God” back in the day, and thinks that things are certainly getting real interesting now that so many mainstream influences are getting involved with the sport.
He concluded by addressing the potential battle between Murda Mook vs. Drake, and how he really hopes that this battle happens in the near future.
