How To Register Your Music With ASCAP (And BMI)

One of the most confusing things in music is understanding royalties and even more how to collect them. One crucial one to have is a performance rights organization like ASCAP or BMI (if you are in the US). They help you collect performance publishing royalties and I talk about how to properly register your songs using them. I go over ASCAP mainly but alot of this information applies all over. I have included a link below for a great BMI tutorial as well! I also go into how to fill out a split sheet which helps register a record tremendously
