We start with a dream to do music as a career and find success within the industry because it makes us happy, but what if no one else understands our vision or our goals? We can see where we want to be and have so much excitement to go for it, but then hit a wall when those we care about the most tell us that we won’t make it and that our dreams are dumb. I personally know what it feels like to be told that I would fail as if it were a known fact. I know what it’s like to be called delusional and that I was wasting my time by following what made me happy. When they don’t believe in you it can break you and it’s hard to stay excited when you’re broken because of those you love and respect. So what can we do to change their mind? What should be say? What can we do to make them believe in our dreams? You probably won’t like the answer to that question…
