A review video on AKAI’s newest MIDI controller (the MPK Mini MK3). Recently, AKAI released a free DAW called “MPC Beats”. Which is a revamped version of the MPC Essentials series. This MIDI controller is meant to enhanced the experience (much like the MPC’s do with their respected software). It sports a new OLED screen, better quality 25 keys, MPC quality pads, and ENDLESS ENCODERS (finally)! However, I acquired this controller from AKAI and there were no MIDI maps when I made the videp (they stated there are more MIDI maps coming soon in an update). Don’t worry, I’ll demonstrate how to set up the controller to the MPC Beats software. The build quality has improve too if you’re wondering. How do you feel about this controller? Please leave a comment below.
