After producing upcoming hits for the likes of TI, Trey Songz, Tech N9ne, Young Jeezy, CyHi Da Prynce, Kendrick Lamar, Scarface, Royce Da 5’9, Pill. and more of hip-hop and R&B’s heavy hitters, producer Emaydee (M80) is becoming the best kept secret of the game. Born Michael Anothony Dupree, Emaydee has always been musical. As the son of a pastor he grew up in the church as a musician, not only at his father’s church but a few other churches in his home town, Kansas City, MO. He was in the 5th grade when he made his first beat. Every since then he hasn’t stopped. Now at the age of 22, the producer/musician has worked with many local heavyweights. Just to name a few he’s worked with artist such as Ron Ron, The Popper, Scatterman, Mr.Stinky, Chain Gang, Legion The Legend, Mic L, Irv Da Phenom, and The Bay Representative Killa Tay. The list has many more artist and continues to grow. Emaydee is believing God for his first major placement. He is currently submitting production to industry executives, artist, and DJ’s. He entered Making His Band and made it to a finalist position in Chicago as a keyboardist and He was accepted into the National Red Bull Big Tune Beat Battle in Detroit (09). He has many more competition entries to come. Tech N9ne’s latest studio project, The Gates Mixed Plate, features five tracks produced by Emaydee, including; “Gamer”, “Harvey Dent”, “What’s Next”, “Afterparty” and “Need More Angels”. Michael “Emaydee” Dupree’s tracks had a huge sonic impact on Tech’s latest studio project. Emaydee’s beats seemed to be a perfect fit for this particular Tech release, and it wouldn’t be unrealistic to assume that this collaboration between Emaydee and Strange Music artists will happen again soon. youtube.com/mikedupreemusic mikedupreemusic.com twitter.com/mike_dupree facebook.com/Emaydee
