This is my sound comparison video for the MPC 3000 vs the MPC X special edition. There’s been a lot “here say” about older MPCs sounding better than the current generation. Let’s get scientific and see if it’s true! Both MPCs are set at the same volume (running thru my UA Apollo Solo audio interface) & recorded it into Ableton Live 11. Also, I provided the samples & Ableton Live 11 project files too. Big thanks to everyone for the support (Bigger thanks to Destructo for providing me with the MPC 3000). Please note that I loaded the same one shots (which are in sound file format) from the MPC 3000 into the MPC X! The sampling test was recorded into both the 3000 & X from the same source respectfully!
