Creation of “SHOULDER LEAN” with C Gutta | BackTrak

We right back at it with another heavy hitter! Don Cannon is brining in a ATL classic with Shoulder Lean by Young Dro featuring T.I. here on BACK TRAK.

“Shoulder Lean” is a 2006 hit by Young Dro, featuring T.I., and produced by Lil’ C (C GUTTA) . Released as the lead single from Dro’s debut album, Best Thang Smokin’, the track became a defining anthem of mid-2000s Southern hip-hop.

Built on a hypnotic piano-driven beat with hard-hitting 808s, the song showcases Young Dro’s charismatic flow, witty wordplay, and flashy delivery. T.I. adds star power with a smooth verse, reinforcing the Grand Hustle movement. The track’s catchy hook and energetic bounce made it a club and radio favorite.
