Twan Beatmaker was born Antonie Reed on September 8, 1987 in Oakland, CA. where he spent most of his childhood being raised by his Grandmother. While in high school Reed moved to Augusta, GA where he attended Hephzibah High School and focused on being a professional football player. However unexpected circumstances prevented him from playing his senior year, he turned to music to keep him occupied.
After graduation, in 2006, Reed took his music to another level and was able to start living off of it. In 2008 he moved to Birmingham, AL to work with Alabama artist MP 205. While working with him, Twan grew a lot as an artist, started experimenting with different sounds and began to sharpen his sound. Then in 2008 Reed moved to Orlando, FL to attend college. While there he developed a lot of great relationships and received many opportunities to further his career. Which as a result led to him to move to Atlanta, Ga in late 2011. Since he has been in ATL, Reed has had the pleasure to work with a lot of amazing people and artists including Future, Cassidy,
