Washington, D.C – G the Mastermind is an innovative producer, artist, songwriter and engineer currently located within Washington, DC. Hailing from Irving, TX by way of San Jose, California and Chicago, Illinois, G has derived a solid local fan base as well as old hometown crowds. He prides himself in being an inspiration to those who seek to work in the audio engineering field as well as hustling to work with those who have inspired him.
At 24 years old, he has already gained quite a bit of notoriety within the district. With collaborations with local celebrities such as Fat Trel, Laelo Hood and Girard Street Garvey as well as production credits for big names like Gucci Mane, Lil’ Wayne, Curren$y, it is no wonder that the multitalented artist is now being probed to take his artistry to another level.
His first mix tape, Keep The P.A.S.E., released March 1st, 2013. The project has 12 original tracks paired with two bonus features (one, a collaboration with friend and fellow artist Bobby Swagg and one, an explosive freestyle).

His newest attention spree has come from his vlog “The Daily Grind”. The artist has teamed up with a friend and upcoming videographer Doug Darden to produce 2 episodes that each expose a different part of what he does to work towards his dream on a regular basis. Each episode has been featured on worldstarhiphop.com and has well over 10,000 views with one video reaching up 175,000+ views.
