http://www.vladtv.com – Courtesy of Leyla Stacked, VladTV offers this exclusive with Alchemist. Amid his hectic schedule inundated with original projects, Al has again teamed up with rapper Oh No to form the Gangrene duo, and he spoke on their project for Grand Theft Auto V — a compilation album titled “Welcome to Los Santos.”

The veteran beatsmith goes on to convey the challenge of creating the compilation album, which features artists from different musical genres, while maintaining a cohesive sound. “It’s a very interesting mix of music that we put together,” says Al. He goes on to relate that although the experience was fun, he is interested “to see how people take to it.”

While Alchemist was unsure of the precise release date for “Welcome to Los Santos,” (it’s since been announced as April 21st) he did share that its first single, “Play It Cool” featuring Earl Sweatshirt and Sam from Future Islands, is out now.
