The year 2015 is quickly coming to an end so it was only right that on this edition of HHS1987’s Behind The Beats we sat down with one of the hottest producers in music today, Sonny Digital.
Closing the year 2015 in high fashion, Eldorado spoke with Sonny Digital on his upcoming projects and moves for 2016. Fresh from Art Basel in Miami, Sonny discussed his time on South Beach, his experiences at Art Basel with Metro Boomin and more. Always in the studio, Sonny recently teamed up with G-Unit’s own 50 Cent for his new record “I’m The Man” so Sonny Digital spoke on working with 50 as well as played some of the record for us.
Sonny also informed us on his upcoming moves. Earlier in the week, Taylor Gang’s own Wiz Khalifa announced he will be releasing a new project ‘Cabin Fever 3’ soon and with Sonny Digital producing 6 of the tracks, we spoke with Sonny on creating music with Wiz Khalifa, making Wiz a special pack of beats and the ‘Cabin Fever 3’ project overall. Also working on a joint project with Chicago native Chief Keef, Sonny informed us that him and Keef have been working on something special for some time now and that we could see their joint project hit the streets before the end of the 2015.
Before concluding the interview, Sonny Digital spoke on up and coming Atlanta rapper 21 Savage, possibly working with Fabolous, continuing to release his own solo projects and more.
