In this edition of HHS1987′s segment Behind the Beats, we caught up with Florida native, Atlanta producer D.Rich. We spoke to D.Rich about his production career, what got him started in the music game, learning from Shawty Redd, working with Jeezy and being featured twice on Rick Ross’ “Mastermind” album and more.
D.Rich also opened up about his future goals and where he sees his career in the near future. Wanting to crossover into creating movie scores, probably putting together a compilation project, working with Atlanta artist Yung Fresh and probably working with Lil Boosie, Trick Daddy and Lil Wayne this year, 2014 surely is shaping out to be a huge year for D.Rich.
Not only did D.Rich kick some game to up and coming producers by advising them to invest in themselves and by giving them tips that helped him find success, D.Rich also took a moment to recreate Rick Ross’ single “Walkin On Air” featuring Meek Mill.
