What started as a fascination for the drums at a young age turned into a high powered passion for creating beats and producing hits. Tagged with the title “Super Producer” and marked by a rare gift for good sounds, Rocky Mount, North Carolina native, Jerard “Manifest” Wiggins. Known for his distinctive sound and high quality production, Jerard was introduced to engineering, live sound and rap at age 13. Through time, his signature sound of eerie pianos, heavy bass, and rugged drums spread through the neighborhood. Every weekend without fail, Jerard participated in rap battles that were hosted by Eastern North Carolina radio station, WRSV Soul Jams92.1. He won the battle every weekend and maintained that record until the rap battles ended. While attending high school, after sports practices he went to work at East Sound Studio, where he attained his first engineering job. As an artist, his group “Slang Unlimited” opened shows for national recording artist such as Petey Pablo, and G-Dep. As a solo artist he opened shows for Raekwon the Chef, Memphis Bleek, Brand Nubian, Ja Rule, Biz Markie and Silk. What many don’t know is that experience with his past popular rap career, which opened the many doors for future networking, was only the beginning to his manifestation. Eventually his first love for drums and sound would come into play and in 2001, teamed up with producers C-Dub and Sly God. They all learned new recording and producing techniques and this began what would have North Carolina respecting him as one of the most talented producers, along with Black Jeruz, Ski Beatz and 9th Wonder. http://legionofmuzik.com/ https://twitter.com/jmanifestnc http://www.youtube.com/user/mani7fest
