They come from two very diverse backgrounds — their paths drawn together under the mentorship of Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds. Leon Thomas III has his roots in acting, appearing as young Simba in The Lion King on Broadway as well as appearing in films like “August Rush” and various Nickelodeon tv shows. Khris Riddick-Tynes hails from the influence of a musical family and an educational background, as he is currently finishing up law school. Together they are The Rascals — Grammy Award Winning Producer Songwriter duo behind Grammy Nominated “Gold Roses” by Rick Ross ft Drake, Grammy Nominated “Being Human In Public” Jessie Reyez, as well as tracks on Chris Brown’s “Indigo”, Kehlani’s “While We Wait”, and many more.
