Tom from Arturia gave us a look at the KeyStep MkII and the KeyStep 37 MkII .
These models have evolved from the original and hugely popular KeyStep, with the MkII having retained the previous version’s features, like the sequencer and ARP capability, but added ‘musical companion’ features, including a scale function and a mutate button to vary musical patterns.
Both models give more a hands-on, with the KeyStep 37 MkII adding more keys and extra control knobs that manage parameters like probability and polyphony.
