Sonicware just dropped the Liven lofi-12 sampler. Which functions like the classic Ensoniq ASR-10! It’s a sampling beast and comes with a ton of sounds to get started with. All sample based electronic music producers (both old school and modern) will love this machine. Though it’s limited on sampling time (max 4 secs in 12khz). The sound is distinguished and big. I was caught off guard by the character. Plus, it has a 12 bit option. As well as other effects you can use per track. It’s 100% portable and take 6 AA batteries (like the other Livens).
