Learn how to make a beat on the MPC Key 37 from start to finish. This tutorial shows you how to build your first sequence fast.

Whether you are new to the Akai MPC Key 37 or just looking to improve your workflow, this guide covers the essentials of production on the device. I walk through the interface, showing exactly how to select plugins and set up your initial drum and instrument tracks. By following these steps, you will be able to start creating your own music immediately without getting stuck in menus.

We cover the specific process of naming sequences and editing your patterns to keep your project organized. This video is designed to get you comfortable with the hardware controls so you can focus on making beats rather than fighting with the settings. Mastering your MPC Key 37 workflow is the fastest way to get your ideas out of your head and into a finished track.
