In this episode of MakeMineMusic, Marc Daniel Nelson demonstrates his favorite
plugin for drums.
While using a drum replacement like Trigger by Slate, you can trigger an existing kick
or snare track and create “Ambient Samples” to augment with the existing drums. By
using the samples and a few tweaks to adjust the transients and eq, one can create any
imaginable drum sound they could dream of.

with the late great Taylor Hawkins on drums, Mick Murphy on Guitar and John
Lousteau producing and engineering.
