When it comes to finalizing your mix and using a limiter or maximizer, you must PREPARE the track for that last step to be accomplished. There must be space allocated for each instrument to be heard clear.
Keep the master going no higher than -3 if you plan on using maximus presets or Izotope Ozone to boost the master.
