A video about how to mix hip hop vocals easy using Waves Audio Plugins. I’m using Ableton Live 10 but you can use this tips in any DAW. I show you how to use a noise gate, de-esser, compressor, doubler, and reverb. Mixing hip hop vocals is all about ENERGY! I use a hip hop reference song for the Migos written and performed by Chicago Rob and Clenz called “Whip Appeal” produced by Me [Traptendo bka DJ Ave Mcree]. The plugins used were Rvox, Scheps Omni Channel, Greg Wells Voicecentric, and Waves Tune Real Time.
