In our latest edition of HHS1987’s Behind The Beats segment, Terrell Thomas sat with music production legend/ mulit-platium producer Mr.Lee in Dallas, TX.
Mr. Lee has been making a lot of noise in the industry over the past few years and is the mastermind behind many hit records to come out of the South. Creating hits for many of today’s biggest hit makers, Mr.Lee gave us some insight on how he creates his beats, the formula his uses and what tools he uses as well and how he has seen the music industry grow over the last 20 years.
During our sit down with Mr. Lee, he spoke on creating music with Scarface, Bun B, Lil Keke, Nipsey Hussle and more. Mr. Lee broke down the importance of understanding the music business and he spoke on his upcoming music business school in the Dallas area.
