We can add reverbs and delays to add a sense of space to our recordings and mixes. We can also add dynamics components like compressors, limiters and maximizers to better control our recordings. EQs offer tone shaping tools, but where do you add them in the MixConsole. In this video, we look at inserting FX over the top of an individual channel, a group track and setting up an audio FX send to an individual FX channel. We also quickly discuss when or where you would want to use the different methods and quickly demonstrate the difference between pre and post insert slots.
