Jean-Marie Horvat Bio:
Jean-Marie Horvat got his start in the early 90’s as a mixer/engineer/remixer for Teddy Riley. During his 5 year tenure, he engineered and mixed a long list of stellar projects which included songs for Michael Jackson’s “Dangerous”, Wreckx-N-Effect’s “Hard or Smooth” and the hit debut Bobby Brown and Blackstreet albums.
Jean-Marie’s ability to work in such diverse styles as Hip Hop, R&B, Rock and Gospel has led him to be one of the preeminent mixers in the business. He has worked with a host of top producers including Timbaland, Justin Timberlake, Stargate, Polow Da Don, The Neptunes, R. Kelly, Scott Storch, Just Blaze, Bryan-Michael Cox, Babyface, Rodney Jerkins and will.i.am. He has been honored with two Grammy Award nominations for his work on Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name” and Kirk Franklin’s “Revolution”, and a Latin Grammy Award nomination for the smash Beyonce f/Shakira “Beautiful Liar.”
