In this episode of the Standalone Challenge, we go into the studio of Tim Kelley, one-half of the Grammy-award winning duo Tim and Bob. Over the years, Tim and Bob have produced hits for a crazy list of R’n’B and hip-hop artists including Michael Jackson, Chris Brown, Busta Rhymes, TLC, Beyonce and many more.

Watch as Tim uses the MPC X to build the beat out of a tasteful acoustic guitar lick into a smooth slow jam.
