there are a lot of rough takes in this video lol but i kind of wanted that to be the point. a lot of the first few times i would come back from LA to visit family i would end up just sitting in this room and playing piano for 1hr+ sessions all the time with no direction, and after a few months it really made me get so much better at coming up with melodies on the piano. i never really captured those “flow state” type of moments on the piano, normally i would just throw a good take in a video but i wanted this video to have zero cuts and show every part of me messing up. i want to hear the melodies/beats y’all make from this! i made a new section in my discord for people to submit what they’ve worked on. my favorite ones i hear will be receiving free copies of some of my kits. join below
