A demo & preset tour video of U-He Hive version 2.0. This new update cost $25 USD if you bought Hive 1.0 before 2019. Otherwise, it’s a free update to another who owned Hive after January 19, 2019! It’s a soft synth for Windows, MacOSX, and NKS format (Native Instruments Maschine users got bless!). Hive is a VA (virtual analog) synth with drag and drop modulation. Plus it has some of the most distinctive sound quality. One of the biggest new features is the shape modulation sequencer. The presets are designed by some of the best sound designers known to mankind. It’s hard to find a weakness about this synth but the lack of a nonassignable step sequence (arpeggio) kinda sucks. Doesn’t really hurt Hive but hopefully an update will change it for the better! How do you feel about Hive 2.0? Let me know in the comments.
