Monstercat recording artist Varien, otherwise known as Nick Pittsinger, is one of those rare electronic music producers that is inspired by just about every genre you can imagine. From Rock to Industrial, Trap to Chill-out this guy really can do it all. Along with his dance releases, he has also created music for several major motion pictures including Furious 7, The Purge: Anarchy and 300: Rise of an Empire. With this body of work, it’s safe to say he knows his way around a score and the sounds of more conventional instruments. For this episode of Razer’s Sound Design Varien explains the art of making electronic orchestral sounds seem more organic and “human.” So if you are looking to add a natural touch to your electronic sounds, say a harp or a brass section, you are going to want to tune into this.
